This intensive 3-hour workshop is a hands-on introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (MMA) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). You will learn the fundamentals of each technique and have the opportunity to put them into practice right from the start.
We will also cover basic workshop safety protocols, the proper use of tools and protective equipment, and metal preparation and handling before and after welding.
No prior experience is necessary. The goal is for you to familiarize yourself with the process, overcome any apprehension about the machine, and discover the possibilities welding offers as a tool for artistic creation and design.
