Art with Impact

During my creativity workshops with refugee women, I have witnessed the transformative power of art: it acts as a tool for self-connection, as a means of emotional healing, allows us to build a positive perspective, and facilitates integration into new environments.

Art and creativity, as a non-verbal language, transcend borders and languages and help express feelings and manage emotions. Furthermore, by working collectively in a safe environment, these women not only create works that reaffirm their identity, but also build social bonds and strengthen their sense of belonging to the community.
